About Dr Hanlie Potgieter

Dr Hanlie Potgieter is a specialist anaesthesiologist in private practice in Port Elizabeth.
She completed her primary qualification and specialist training in Bloemfontein (UFS) in 2000.
She came home to the friendly city in 2006.
She has a special interest in anaesthesia for joint replacements and general surgery.
In order to provide an effective after-hour service, she joined the Bay Anaesthetists Practice for emergency work.
She is a member of the following professional bodies and ascribe to their ethical guidelines and standards:

1. The Society of Anaesthesiologists of SA (SASA)
2. The Health Professions Council of SA (HPCSA)
